Presented by trained workshop leaders from both the not-for-profit and corporate communities. The sessions address the processes essential to the creation and growth of a successful, dynamic board. This VMC program can be tailored to address the particular needs of an organization, and is provided on a contractual basis. Fees vary based on the size of the group, materials required and the extent of the training.
Every month, in partnership with Family Services of Morris County, VMC will offer a two-hour new Board member orientation on trustee roles and responsibilities, which is FREE to all newly-elected trustees. Sessions will be staggered between morning, lunch break and early evening to accommodate everyone’s schedule.

A professional education and networking association for those who manage volunteer programs, regardless of whether they work in paid positions or are part of a volunteer staff. In recognition and support of the challenges faced by our community's not-for-profit leaders, VMC offers regularly scheduled forums for Executive Directors to connect and collaborate with others. Specifically, VMC's ED Forums offer an opportunity to network and discuss current trends, obstacles and opportunities, and -in direct response to ED requests--have included topics such as board recruitment, not-for-profit mergers, and insurance and benefit packages.
