Join the Team and Help Fight Cancer: American Cancer Society Race for the Cure of Denville is seeking volunteers to plan and run their June 22 and 23 overnight fundraising events. Office Duties and Fundraising at Preschool: assist with data entry, mailings, fundraising and family events, school and child committees. Share Your Gift of Literacy: attend an upcoming workshop series to become a literacy tutor. Volunteers are needed to work with adults in Essex and Passaic Counties. Three locations offered. Pfizer employees volunteered their time in December at The Morristown Neighborhood House, where they spread holiday cheer by playing games, reading books and donating gifts to the children.

In December, 34 volunteers from the LexisNexis Corporate Affiliations/Red Books group in New Providence, N.J. spent their morning hours assembling 150 brown-bagged lunches for next day distribution by Bridges Outreach, a local charity organization. The group also took up a successful collection of new children's pajamas and wrapped them to be given to children at the Newark Emergency Residency Program.
