Bring Joy to Seniors: work one-on-one or help with activities and bring some needed joy and companionship to seniors in a retirement community. Finance & Tax Experts: assist this preschool with the financial sections of their application process. Knowledge of 1040 tax and W-2 forms a plus. Renovate & Repair Group Homes: bring your tools and take care of minor repairs, general maintenance and light painting at these group homes for the disabled. Advocate for Abused Children: insure that assistance and needed services are made available to abused and neglected children. Be a Guide at an Historic Farm: an appreciation of history and love of children make you a perfect candidate as a guide on this historic farm. Join the Team and Help Fight Cancer: American Cancer Society Race for the Cure of Denville is seeking volunteers to plan and run their June 22 and 23 overnight fundraising events. Office Duties and Fundraising at Preschool: assist with data entry, mailings, fundraising and family events, school and child committees. Share Your Gift of Literacy: attend an upcoming workshop series to become a literacy tutor. Volunteers are needed to work with adults in Essex and Passaic Counties. Dog Walker & Cat Cuddlers Needed: provide companionship, socialization and exercise to dogs and cats at this animal shelter.
